All about the Inktober 2026 challenge

What is Inktober?

Inktober is a worldwide art challenge created in 2009 by Jake Parker. Every October, thousands of artists around the world create one ink illustration per day, following a list of 31 official prompts.

This challenge encourages creativity, consistency and sharing within the international art community.

Why this tool?

This tool was designed to make your participation in the Inktober 2026 challenge easier. It lets you:

How to use the app?

Prompts page

Select a day of the month in the calendar to see the matching prompt. Use the "Copy" button to instantly get all the hashtags you need for your Instagram post.

Workflow page

Follow the 4 main creation phases: Draft, Outline/Inking, Finishing and Publishing. Each phase contains detailed steps with timers to help you manage your time efficiently.

Neither Jake Parker, Instagram, nor any other entity can claim ownership of your work. You are free to sell, exhibit or use it commercially.
